First Aid & CPR India
In health care, maintaining high standards of care is essential to protect the public. In India, keeping clinical skills current is a condition of a nurse's continued registration, while for support roles such as the General Duty Assistant first aid and CPR are built into the occupational qualification the position requires. Here is what the rules expect for your role — and how recognized, up-to-date, documented training fits in.
Registered nurses in India are accountable to the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and their State Nursing Council for keeping their knowledge and skills current. Under the INC (Continuing Nursing Education) Regulations 2019, a registered nurse must earn continuing nursing education credits as a condition of renewing registration, with the goal of maintaining clinical competence — including the ability to respond to life-threatening emergencies.
State council CNE guidelines explicitly list Basic Life Support among recommended continuing-education topics, reflecting the professional expectation that a nurse can initiate resuscitation and provide emergency care. Keeping BLS and CPR skills current, and documenting them, is a recognised way of meeting that expectation.
CNE is mandatory: under the 2019 Regulations a registered nurse must earn 30 CNE credit points per year (within 30–60 CNE hours annually), totalling 150 points over five years, as a condition of registration renewal, with state councils administering the scheme. Basic Life Support and CPR training is expressly recognised among CNE topics and counts toward this requirement.
- 培训者的能力;
- 内容的相关性与质量;
- 培训的框架;
- 所提供材料的质量;
In India, the Indian Nursing Council sets the CNE framework and the State Nursing Councils apply the criteria a learning activity must meet to earn credit.
For support staff, the requirement is different in structure. The General Duty Assistant (GDA) role is defined by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC/NSDC) model curriculum of roughly 460 hours, within which first aid and CPR are an embedded, required component rather than a standalone qualification. A first-aid and CPR certificate on its own is not a recognised pathway into the role: it is valuable and expected as part of the training, but the position requires the full GDA qualification, of which first aid and CPR form one required part.
- 一份正式证明;
- 一份结业证书;
- 一份明细发票;
我们严格遵循 ILCOR(International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation)的建议,该国际机构负责对全球复苏标准进行科学评估与制定。
